Conversational English practice and opportunities to improve communication skills.
Group activities, peer support, workshops, and opportunities to build friendships and reduce isolation.
Sessions on financial literacy, digital skills, Canadian systems, and navigating community resources.
Information and referrals related to childcare, schools, family services, and other local resources.
Activities that encourage confidence, independence, participation, and leadership among newcomer women.
Newcomer women, including immigrants, refugees, and other women who are adjusting to life in Canada.
Participants gain greater knowledge of available resources, improved confidence and communication skills, stronger community connections, and increased readiness for employment, education, and community participation.
