The act of mastering your vision, goals and purpose is personal mastery, in a world of so much information and a lot of happenings it is easy to lose track. Personal mastery helps you stay on track and it’s every mom’s super power. As an athlete we are in the race to win, the only way you can win is through constant training and practice that is the act of mastery.
“And the Lord said to me, “Write my answer on a billboard, large and clear, so that anyone can read it at a glance and rush to tell the others. But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!”Habakkuk 2:2-3Living Bible.
Am going to be discussing the power of vision boards and how to work your purpose by simply applying these biblical principles. The results of principles are the same regardless of who applies it, just like the laws of motion and gravity. Newton’s First Law of Motion says that an object will remain in its state of motion unless acted upon by force. Essentially, this means that if an object is not moving, it will remain still until a force (a push or pull) acts on it. Likewise, if an object is moving, it will continue to move in the same direction with the same speed in a straight line until a force acts on it. In either case the motion is changed.

Vision is what you see, and what you hope to achieve, your ability to see is one step, taking action to write it down and put them in motion are greater steps. The steps;
- Personal Mastery the action taker – Yes to master your vision you have to be an action taker, you take action by writing the vision down large and clear. The beautiful thing about doing this is that the vision on paper becomes your map that you visit to make sure you are on track
- Allow visibility– Its a vision board and your personal road map you cannot hide or lock it up in your drawer or closet nor your phone. Posting the vision in a visible location helps you view it constantly. The more you see it the more you become it. We attract what we behold. What you write down, believe and hang up you gradually become. Allowing visibility motivates you to speak your vision first to yourself and then to others. In the mouth of two or three witnesses the words you speak are established.
- Be Patient– The vision will be fulfilled according to the word of God, we are his masterpiece recreated for good works. Every good desire you have he put them in you because of his purpose concerning you. God is more committed to your success than you can ever imagine. The vision you have written is inspired by the HolySpirit, patience is required for you to become it. Slowly steady, surely the vision will happen, it will not delay a single day according to his perfect timing. Don’t lose hope if it seems slow, the more you wait and speak the vision the stronger it becomes. Patience gives you the strength you require to succeed in your vision, and master your plans.
- Forces are present– There is a supernatural force that leads you to your goals, visions and plans. Taking action is your responsibility and your role in aligning your vision with the supernatural force. As you behold your vision you master your vision and this force attracts and connects you with the resources needed to achieve your vision. The wind of the Holy Spirit is this supernatural force. As you do not know how a little baby is formed in the mother’s womb so it is with this wind. You will not understand it all completely but holding on to what you already know and believe helps you take action which is the act of personal mastery.
